📢 Job Opportunity: Operations Manager
Kilkeel Credit Union is currently recruiting for a full-time Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This is a permanent position offering 35 hours per week and represents a key opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the strategic and operational delivery of our services.
As a community-focused financial institution, we are committed to providing high-quality, accessible services to our members. The Operations Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations while supporting innovation and service development.
🔍 About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing core operational functions including finance, credit control, administration, cash management, and compliance. They will also deputise for the Manager when required and support staff performance and development.
🎯 Candidate Requirements
We are seeking someone with:

  • A degree in Business & Finance or Accounting and at least two years’ experience in a senior finance role
    OR
  • Three to five years’ experience in a senior operational, finance, or management role—preferably within financial services or a credit union
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and IT systems
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
